Relaxation Protocols And EFT Tapping Part 2

I’ll now detail out the In-The-Moment Relaxation protocol we use here at EFT tapping in Las Vegas. If you are unsure in regards to what this is that I’m discussing, please visit the previous post here, Relaxation Protocols And EFT Tapping and read this post first.

How to relax certain areas of your body and muscles throughout the day – Our instruction to our clients at EFT tapping in Las Vegas regarding the In-The-Moment Relaxation protocol goes something like this, “It is necessary that you become aware of your habit of tensing your ___ (Fill in the blank with the area that pains you) on a moment to moment basis and change this habit. Throughout the day check for tension in your upper shoulders, traps, lower back etc., so you can apply the technique of relaxing it. You may want to set the alarm on your phone, tie a string around your finger, or paste a colored piece of paper on your computer screen to remind you.” The alarm is best; set it for every fifteen minutes to remind you to relax your tense areas.

Here at EFT tapping in Las Vegas the In-The-Moment Relaxation protocol is done repetitively, without effort and without seeking any gain. Perform this as often as you can, as long as these mini relaxations don’t interfere with your functioning during the day. Don’t tighten and then relax; just relax. Do nothing. If you choose to ‘do’ something, move your body around a little as if you are stretching, as well as take some deep breathes into your belly to assist in becoming relaxed.

This is difficult to describe and assist you with on a personal basis as I’m unsure where your physical issues are. Often times if you have physical pain in a certain area, that area is not where the real cause or issue originates. This is why it is a good idea to visit us for a free consultation so you can get specific, individualized instruction along with learning the basics of EFT tapping in Las Vegas. Our relaxation protocols go hand-in-hand with EFT tapping. They compliment each other.

Most people here at EFT tapping in Las Vegas can feel tension in certain parts of their bodies and can let go of this tension to some degree or another when they are aware of it. Others cannot. If you are one of those who cannot discern tension or how to relax tense areas you can become sensitive to it in the following way. This is an example for those who suffer from chronic headaches or cervical neck and upper back pain.

As you are reading this right now, put your attention and awareness on your shoulders and allow them to drop just a bit. Almost everyone I know has tension in their upper back, cervical neck and trap muscles leading to the shoulders to constantly elevate. If you can’t notice this, then pull your shoulders back as if you are sitting up straight. Move them around a bit. The sensation is very subtle and will occur out of your awareness if you’re not paying careful attention. These (as well as others) are the muscles that you want to learn to relax throughout the day for these muscles are part of the guarding response that keeps you tight and tense. In-The-Moment Relaxation is the practice of allowing the muscles to drop and relax all day. Don’t look for immediate results. Don’t strain in any way. It should take just a moment to notice and do and should hardly take any attention away from what you’re involved in. Remember that your voluntary relaxation of these muscles at first will rarely cause much of a sense of relaxation in them. It is best to expect that your voluntary relaxation will only help a little to relax the muscles. Even if this method is effective for you, you may only experience slight relief of symptoms for days or weeks.

In-The-Moment Relaxation on an ongoing basis becomes a habit replacing the tendency to chronically tighten certain areas of your body. This is one of the areas we focus on here at EFT tapping in Las Vegas.

Here are a few hints on the application:

1) It takes time to learn. This is self explanatory. Doing it should take only a moment or two.
2) Make sure that you do not exert effort. Meaning, do not exert any effort to relax. Don’t pull your shoulders down (as in the example above) to relax. Just allow them to naturally find their lowest point. This leads us back to number one, it takes time to learn and why you should join us in person here at EFT tapping in Las Vegas.
3) Continue to practice even if no results seem to occur. Practicing this conscientiously for weeks has helped some clients reduce their symptoms.

One again, all of this is best demonstrated in person here at EFT tapping in Las Vegas. Also, and I know I sound like a broken record, but this is just awareness training. You are becoming aware of your body on a moment-to-moment basis, especially areas that are in pain.

Relaxation Protocols And EFT Tapping

Although EFT Tapping in Las Vegas works wonders in reducing and eliminating stress, most people still have a very difficult time relaxing. This blog post will be the beginning of a series of posts detailing the specifics in regards to our Mind-Body Awareness Relaxation Protocol that can be combined with EFT tapping in Las Vegas as well as other mindful activities.

The word relax comes from the old French word relaxer which means “to make less compact or dense, to loosen, or open” and from the Latin word laxus which means “to be wide, loose, open, slack or languid.” Indeed tension is a state of denseness, tightness, constriction, and contraction. In the cases of chronic pain here at EFT Tapping in Las Vegas most clients are dense and tense.

Thus, here at EFT Tapping in Las Vegas, I’ll define our Mind-Body Awareness and Relaxation Protocol as the practice of conscious effortlessness. In our treatment protocol, we use mind-body relaxation in two different but complementary ways, as briefly introduced in this post.

The In-The-Moment Relaxation protocol is first and is used throughout your normal day to regularly interrupt the habit of tensing specific muscles and soft tissue (which is derived from a possibly over-active CNS or Central Nervous System) that are causing you chronic pain. Performing In-The-Moment Relaxation can involve many brief relaxations during the day along with EFT tapping in Las Vegas. As you become more skilled, this practice takes less time and is done almost automatically. The intention here is for you to abort the old, dysfunctional chronic habit of tensing throughout the day. This is also part of our awareness training for you. To ‘become aware’ throughout the day of when you are uptight and or tense.

Our Comprehensive Relaxation protocol at EFT tapping in Las Vegas is the second form which requires setting aside time that is devoted to the practice of technique, without the distractions that occur during your normal everyday life. This is best practiced two to three times a day with each practice period lasting approximately 30 to 45 minutes. The skill of resting attention in sensation that can make it possible for pain to reduce or disappear is developed in the Comprehensive Relaxation protocol. Yes, this does seem like a lot of ‘time’ devoted to de-stressing. Only you can make the decision to determine the worth...or not. It's up to you.

The In-The-Moment Relaxation protocol does not offer the depth of relaxation achieved the by Comprehensive Relaxation protocol and by itself can have clear but limited effects. (This is the same with EFT tapping in Las Vegas; quick rounds of tapping throughout the day work well, yet setting aside time and really digging into the ‘aspects’ of an issue achieve better results.) The comprehensive practice represents the laboratory in which the skill of the method is developed. It represents the heart of the practice and produces the most benefit (just as comprehensive EFT tapping in Las Vegas does.)

Under normal circumstances most people would rarely be willing to devote the time and attention to change the habit of tightening up certain areas of the body either under stress or as a protective guarding response against pain felt in the body. The energy required (and taught here at EFT Tapping in Las Vegas) to change this habit comes from the strength of the desire to stop the pain and dysfunction. We will assist you in this as well.

Clients of EFT Tapping in Las Vegas are often surprised at the number of times each day that they tense their muscles. Changing this habit is possible but not a small matter. If you have joined us or sought help elsewhere you already know this through awareness training.

Most EFT tapping in Las Vegas clients will devote the time and effort required to change this habit when they feel doing so reduces or eliminates their symptoms. Peculiarly, this motivation is the gift of this condition, even though it rarely feels like a gift when the symptoms exist unabated.

This blog post is starting to get long, so I’ll cut it short here. In the next post I’ll dig further into the details of the In-The-Moment Relaxation protocol that we offer here at EFT Tapping in Las Vegas. This will include further awareness training as well as how to relax your body throughout the day.

Using EFT Tapping In Las Vegas To Stay Present

EFT tapping in Las Vegas for transforming mind, body and soul using the wisdom of our mind and body to face stress, pain and illness.

Which of us, in our heart of hearts, is unaware that those moments when we feel deeply connected to another person, to nature, or to the quiet stillness in our own being are deeply healing? To those of us willing to quest for wholeness, the quest need not be lengthy. Wholeness is as close as the next breath - as the next moment we are willing to be fully aware of. This is our focus with EFT tapping in Las Vegas.

The way of being described here, which emerges naturally out of the cultivation and practice of clearing negative emotions with EFT tapping in Las Vegas, can serve as a doorway into a profound way of knowing ourselves better and for mobilizing the inner resources we all have, no matter what our situation and our condition, for learning, for growing, for healing, and for transformation across the life span, starting from where we find ourselves, no matter where or how that is.

So much of the time, we are out of touch with the richness of the present moment, and the fact that inhabiting this moment, our only moment, with greater awareness shapes the moment that follows, and if we can sustain it by using EFT tapping in Las Vegas, actually shapes the future and the quality of our lives and relationships in ways we often simply do not appreciate. The only way we have of influencing the future is to own the present, however we find it. Then we just might find ways to live the life that is actually ours to live. Awareness And EFT Tapping Las Vegas

Most of us wish for a friend who accepts us unconditionally. What if we could accept ourselves unconditionally and become our own best friend? Here's a phrase I'll use with our EFT tapping Las Vegas clients in regards to their own self-talk:

"I want to be present with you exactly as you are. I am not asking you to change in any way. While I may have preferences about how I might want you to be, I am committed to letting go of these preferences in favor of letting you be exactly the way you are. You may change from one moment to the next, and I am committed to being fully present with you on a moment to moment basis and to feel and accept you however much you change. No matter what happens in this moment, I am determined to let you be as you are with an open and sincere heart."

We teach the importance of this phrase here with our EFT tapping Las Vegas clients. Why is this so important? Because most of us, deep down inside, really don’t know or accept ourselves. Then, when something is perceived to 'go wrong,' we want change. Change what? Where do we begin?

Instead of endlessly discussing symptoms as woes and how to get rid of them here with our EFT tapping Las Vegas clients, when we do focus on symptoms of one kind or another it is to tune in to the actual experience of the symptoms themselves in those moments when they dominate the mind and body.

We do this in a particular way with our EFT tapping Las Vegas clients, which might be called giving the stories or symptoms attention. Attention, or attentive capacity which most lack, involves bringing the stability and calm of mindfulness to our symptoms and to our reactions to them. This is where we use EFT tapping Las Vegas style to slowly work through each aspect of the story.

Allow yourself to bring awareness to your own thoughts and feelings and their physical, psychological, and social consequences as you observe them. As each negative emotion arises, stop the story and perform EFT tapping Las Vegas style on that very specific issue. If you can observe in yourself the toxicity of certain beliefs, thought patterns, and behaviors as they arise in the moment, then you can work to eliminate their hold on you.

In this way using EFT tapping Las Vegas style, our clients come to see that science is confirming what has long been known, namely that each one of us has an important role to play in our own well-being. This role can be more effectively played if we can become conscious of and modify certain aspects of the way we live which can affect our health. These include our attitudes, thoughts, and beliefs; our emotions; our stance in relationship to society; and our behaviors.

All can influence our health in different ways; all are related to stress and our attempts to cope with it; and all are directly influenced by the practice of EFT tapping Las Vegas style. Join us, won’t you?
